Exercise 1: Draw your own left or right shoe from the side. Place the shoe on a table in front of you (preferably at eye level as much as possible). If necessary, first very lightly draw the shape of a bare foot from the side (see Chapter 1).
Exercise 2: Place a real or invented shoe in an completely new imaginary environment. Here some examples for inspiration.
EXTRA: Draw or paint three close-ups (close-up shots) of two feet with shoes walking somewhere, left to right or vice versa. In each shot they have walked just a little bit further, so that the surface / background looks slightly different. You can prepare this exercise by taking pictures (taken from a very low point of view).
